Job Summary

Responsible for the timely and efficient collection of outstanding payments from customers in Visakhapatnam, ensuring adherence to company policies and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities

- Contact customers in Visakhapatnam via phone, email, and in-person visits to negotiate and collect outstanding debts.
- Track and manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, prioritizing collection efforts based on urgency and amount.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes in a qualified and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions in the company's system.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery rates while minimizing customer dissatisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to address customer issues impacting payment.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on collection performance and outstanding balances.




- Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines related to debt collection practices.

Job Qualifications**
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in debt collection or a similar customer-facing role, preferably within a financial services or retail environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of accounts.
- Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of local collection regulations and best practices.
- Fluency in English and Telugu is essential.
- A valid driver's license and own transportation may be required for field visits.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
