Role Description The Cloud Engineer - AWS will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions that support Veradium’s AI, contact center, and security products on AWS. This full-time, remote role in, India involves building and optimizing scalable architectures, configuring networking, storage, and compute resources, and ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, automate deployments using infrastructure-as-code, and support production environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.

The role also includes implementing security best practices, managing backups and disaster recovery, maintaining documentation, and continuously improving systems based on operational insights and emerging AWS services.

General Qualifications





- Solid hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
- Strong Cloud Computing and Infrastructure skills, including hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and Databases (relational and/or NoSQL), including performance tuning and backup/restore strategies.
- Software Development skills in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Java) to automate deployments, integrations, and operational tasks.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance considerations relevant to SMBs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Must have one or more Associate level AWS certifications and willing to pursue Professional level certification
