Role Senior DevOps Engineer (Platform & Migration)

Mission Lead the architectural transition of our CI/CD ecosystem from AWS to a high-availability On-Premise setting, ensuring a "Cloud-Native" experience on local hardware.

Key Responsibilities

Hybrid Migration Strategy Design and execute the migration path for Jenkins and build artifacts from AWS to On-Prem. Ensure zero-downtime transitions for development teams.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Develop and maintain production-grade Ansible playbooks and Terraform/OpenStack (or VMware) configurations to treat our data center like a programmable cloud.

Secure Software Supply Chain Lead the "Shift Left" security initiative. This includes standardizing base images, enforcing non-root execution, and integrating automated security scanning into the pipeline.

Local Cloud Services Architect and manage local object storage (ex. MinIO) and ensure high availability, data persistence,



and backup strategies for on-premise stateful services.

Developer Self-Service Build internal tooling that allows developers to provision environments and deploy code without waiting for manual tickets.

Technical Requirements

Linux Mastery Expert-level RHEL/CentOS administration (Systemd, Networking, SELinux).

CI/CD Orchestration Deep experience with Jenkins (Configuration as Code) and migrating complex pipelines across environments.

Configuration Management Mastery of Ansible (Roles, Collections, and Vault).

Container Networking Strong understanding of CNI (Cilium/Calico) and how Kubernetes interacts with physical data center networks (BGP, MetalLB).

Storage & Data Experience managing S3-compatible storage (ex. MinIO) and understanding persistent volume claims (PVCs) in on-premise clusters.
