Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on knowledge in transformer design, SMPS transformers, magnetic components, and electrical design calculations. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing transformers and magnetics components according to technical and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform transformer design calculations, particularly for SMPS transformers.
Select suitable Ferrite Cores based on electrical and application requirements.
Perform winding design and calculations.
Design and select appropriate insulation systems.
Work with different bobbins and magnetic components.
Perform magnetics calculations including core, winding, inductance, and related parameters.
Prepare and maintain transformer design specifications and technical documentation.
Analyze and troubleshoot transformer/magnetic component design issues.
Coordinate with production and other engineering teams for design validation and improvements.
Ensure designs meet required electrical, safety, and performance specifications.
