In this role, you ll make an impact in the following ways:
Design, develop, and enhance high-performance risk management applications using Python and PySpark.
Collaborate with risk managers, quantitative analysts, and front office stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Implement and support risk analytics engines, scenario analysis, stress testing, and real-time market data ingestion
Develop microservices and APIs using Python, integrated with Apache Impala and SQL Server backends
Ensure high reliability and performance of risk systems by integrating robust messaging architectures using Kafka or MQ
Participate in DevOps and CI/CD processes including testing, deployment automation, and monitoring
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards
5+ years of experience as a developer in financial services, preferably within front office risk, credit risk, or market risk technology teams
Solid programming experience with Python and PySpark and SQL Server
Solid understanding of risk data models, VaR, PFE, credit exposure,



and market risk sensitivities
Experience with real-time messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ)
Familiarity with risk analytics libraries, pricing models, or integration with vendor risk engines (e.g., Murex, Calypso, or proprietary systems)
Experience working in agile development settings with source control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, or related field; advanced degree a plus.

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following:
Experience with cloud-native development (Azure, AWS)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, FRTB, or CCAR
