Your Tasks –

Responsible for leading the Chassis Integration team while simultaneously serving as a senior technical contributor for global vehicle development programs in chassis integration.

The role requires balancing people management, competency development, resource planning, and project leadership with hands-on responsibility for the design, integration, and development of commercial vehicle chassis systems and components for ICE and BEV platforms.

To ensure that you will-

- Act as a senior integration engineer as individual contributor and technical authority for chassis integration activities within global vehicle development projects.
- Lead the design and development of chassis integration solutions for commercial vehicle platforms, including both ICE and BEV applications.
- Define and validate functional requirements, packaging constraints,



operating environments, and interface requirements while considering DFM, DFA, and DFS principles.
- Develop and review engineering concepts, layouts, component installations, and system integration solutions.
- Drive resolution of complex engineering issues through analytical problem-solving and technical decision-making.
- Contribute directly to engineering deliverables, design reviews, concept evaluations, and product releases.
- Coordinate with global cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, validation, and suppliers during product development for individual technical topics.
- Lead and develop a team of engineers by managing team requirements, project assignments, workload balancing, and competency development.
- Identify present and future competency requirements based on project demands and organizational strategy.
- Review project risks, set priorities, and optimize resource utilization across multiple programs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering efficiency, product performance, cost, and quality.
- Define and ensure adherence to organizational quality processes and engineering standards.
- Support Agile implementation, QMS activities, and internal quality audits.
- Demonstrate leadership through accountability, ownership, and adherence to organizational values.
- Build strong collaboration across local and global engineering organizations.
- Contribute to organizational vision, mission, strategic objectives, and capability-building initiatives.
- Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, customer focus, innovation, and operational excellence.

Your qualification/ minimum requirements -

- MS, M Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
