We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our Core Litigation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for deconstructing complex GST notices, analyzing departmental orders, conducting deep legal research, and formulating bulletproof defense strategies for our clients.
This is a pure litigation and advisory role. Whether you are an experienced tax professional or a fresher CA with a strong logical mindset and a passion for legal interpretation, we welcome your application.
Key Responsibilities1. Notice &
- Order Evaluation
- Conduct a thorough factual and technical review of incoming GST notices (including SCNs under Section 73/74, Section 70 Summons, and Section 67 Search/Seizure actions).
- Deconstruct adjudication orders, audit reports, and demand notices to identify procedural lapses, gaps in departmental logic, or violations of natural justice.

Research &
• Jurisprudence
- Research and track evolving GST law, including recent notifications, circulars, and landmark rulings from High Courts and the Supreme Court.
- Cross-reference allegations with settled jurisprudence to establish strong legal precedents in favor of the client.

Formulation &
• Drafting
- Formulate comprehensive legal strategies and defense lines for complex tax disputes (e.g., Input Tax Credit mismatches, classification issues, or clandestine sales allegations).
- Draft precise, high-quality replies to Show Cause Notices, appeals, revisions, and writ petitions.

Representation & • Client Advisory
- Assist senior partners/counsels in preparing for hearings before Adjudicating Authorities, Appellate Authorities, and Tribunals.
- Brief clients on potential litigation risks, merits of the case, and optimal forward strategies.
Candidate Profile & • Qualifications
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience. Fresher CAs with a strong aptitude for law, excellent analytical skills, and exposure to indirect tax during their articleship are highly encouraged to apply.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong conceptual understanding of the CGST/SGST Act, Rules, and underlying legal frameworks.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal arguments clearly.
- Ability to interpret data files, financial statements, and reconcile them against tax portal data.
- High proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Taxmann, Taxsutra, etc.).
