Role Description The CCTV Technician role at BSV PLUS™ is a full time, on-site position based in Patna. The technician is responsible for installing and configuring CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and IP-based surveillance equipment at client locations. Daily tasks include running and terminating cables, setting up network connections for remote viewing, testing system functionality, and troubleshooting technical issues.

The role also involves performing routine maintenance, documenting installation details, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Technicians interact directly with customers to explain system features, provide basic user training, and address service requests in a professional manner.

Qualifications

- CCTV Installation skills, including camera mounting, cabling, DVR/NVR setup,



and IP camera configuration
- Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with clients and explaining technical information clearly
- Awareness of Hazardous Materials and safety practices, including safe handling of tools, cables, and electrical components
- Basic knowledge of networking (routers, switches, IP addressing) and remote monitoring setup
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, installation manuals, and work orders
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electronics, electrical, IT, or a related field is preferred
- Willingness to work on-site at various customer locations in and around Patna, with occasional travel within Bihar

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 per month (experience ke anusar)
