- Perform billing with speed and accuracy
- Handle all tenders at the cash counter as per defined norms (cash, credit cards, debit cards, credit notes, GV transactions etc.)
- Adhere to the defined billing process & pull-out activity
- Check and ensure smooth working of the infra at the tills (POS, EDC machines etc.)
- Maintain the tills as per the defined standards of hygiene
- Manage the tills and float as per defined norms
- Consolidate and help reconcile all tenders at the end of shift as per norms
- Issue and redeem credit notes, GVs and gift items as per defined standards
- Deposit the cash collected during the day as per norms ensuring there is no shortage or excess of cash
- Adhere to defined standards of customer service to enable a outstanding customer shopping experience at the cash counter
- Communicate promotions and discount vouchers to the customers at the cash counter
- Maintain required documentation relating to cash and bill operations (charge slips, deposit slips, cash room registers etc.)
