Role & responsibilities
Manage ocean freight pricing for export and import shipments across Europe, Med, and USA sectors.
Prepare accurate freight quotations including ocean freight, surcharges, and local charges.
Handle RFQs and tenders, ensuring timely and competitive submissions.
Coordinate with major shipping lines such as Maersk, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, CMA CGM, and Hapag-Lloyd for rate procurement and updates.
Monitor market trends and rate fluctuations across international trade lanes.
Ensure pricing strategies maintain profitability and margin targets.
Work closely with sales and operations teams to support business growth.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience in pricing with main shipping lines for Europe, Med Europe, and USA sectors.
Solid knowledge of ocean freight pricing and shipping line operations.
Robust negotiation and communication skills.
Expertise in handling both dry containers and SOC shipments.
Coordination experience with shipping lines is essential.
