About the Role
looking for a C++ Engineer with solid Audio CODEC knowledge to work on test development and functional testing of Audio/Video SDK libraries.
The role involves developing test cases in C++, performing regression testing, testing Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) functionality, and supporting automation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement test cases using C++ for audio and SDK libraries.
Perform functional testing of Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) applications.
Test audio libraries, tools, and related SDK components.
Perform regression testing and identify, debug, and troubleshoot issues.
Work with Audio CODECs, Encoders, and Decoders.
Develop and maintain automated test cases where applicable.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure quality and reliability of audio-related features.
Support different testing and audio-tool activities based on project requirements.
Mandatory Skills
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging.
Valuable knowledge of Audio CODECs and audio processing concepts.
Hands-on understanding of Audio Encoders and Decoders.
Experience in C++ Test Case Development / Test Development.
Experience with Audio/Multimedia Testing, Regression Testing, and Automation.
Good to Have
Basic Python scripting knowledge.
Experience with Audio/Video technologies.
Knowledge of SDK libraries and embedded systems.
Experience working with Digital Audio Workstations or audio tools.
Required Candidate Profile
2 years of relevant experience in C++, audio, testing, or related areas.
Strong programming and debugging skills in C++.
Candidates should have practical exposure to the Audio domain, particularly CODECs, Encoders, or Decoders.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on C++ test development, functional testing, audio tools, and automation activities.
