Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
Troubleshoot CNC machine electrical, mechanical and control-related problems.
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC, VMC, HMC and other machine tools.
Handle servo motors, drives, VFDs, PLC, sensors, limit switches and control panels.
Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and ensure timely rectification.
Maintain machine availability and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with production teams for breakdown and maintenance activities.
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown records and maintenance MIS.
Support installation, commissioning and trial runs of current machines.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance activities.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with CNC machines and machine-shop equipment.
Knowledge of CNC controls, PLC, VFD, servo drives and electrical panels.
Mechanical candidates should have knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
Electrical candidates should have solid knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and control systems.
Experience in manufacturing / heavy engineering / fabrication industry will be preferred.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
