Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO/FICA Testing Consultant with solid expertise in SAP Finance business processes, RTR (Record-to-Report) testing, and end-to-end validation of SAP S/4HANA/ECC implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing test strategies, executing integration and regression testing, validating finance transactions, and collaborating with business and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Define, design, and execute comprehensive test plans and test strategies for SAP Finance modules.
Create and review test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for SAP RTR processes.
Lead end-to-end testing activities including:
Unit Testing
System Integration Testing (SIT)
Regression Testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
Validate General Ledger transactions, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities.
Perform testing across core SAP Finance processes including AP, AR, Asset Accounting, General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Settlement, and Financial Reporting.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop robust testing scenarios.




Work with automation teams to identify and automate critical business test cases.
Track, monitor, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA.
Participate in defect triage meetings and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
Support data migration validation, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare testing.
Execute integration testing with cross-functional SAP workstreams including OTC, RTR, and FICA.
Ensure compliance with project quality standards and testing best practices.

Required Skills

SAP Functional & Testing Skills
Solid expertise in SAP FICO Testing.
Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.
Experience in end-to-end Finance Integration and Regression Testing.
Robust knowledge of:

Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Cost Center Accounting
Profit Center Accounting
Internal Orders & Settlement
Financial Consolidation & Reporting
Experience validating:
GL postings
Financial reconciliations

Year-End Close processes
Understanding of:
Parallel Ledger
Group Reporting
Revenue Recognition
