Role Description The Business Unit Head (Leafspring Division) will lead the overall strategy, operations, and performance of the Leafspring Division in an on-site, full-time role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. This role involves setting business targets, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring efficient production, quality control, and on-time delivery.

The Business Unit

Head will oversee budgeting, cost optimization, and resource allocation, while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and technology. Daily responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with sales,



supply chain, and quality departments, and maintaining robust relationships with OEM customers and stakeholders. The role also requires ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards, and mentoring team members to build a high-performance, engaged workforce.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Expertise in production planning, operations management, and process optimization within forging, leaf springs, or related automotive components.
- Sound knowledge of quality management systems, ISO/TS standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in business planning, budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring using data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to build and maintain OEM customer relationships, manage key accounts, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Engineering or technical degree (Mechanical/Production/Industrial or related field) preferred; MBA or equivalent management qualification is an advantage.
- Experience working in large-scale, export-oriented automotive or industrial manufacturing organizations is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently and take ownership of business outcomes.
