Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full time, hybrid role based in Indore, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in auditing, inspection, and certification services. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and engaging potential clients, conducting market research, preparing proposals, and managing the sales pipeline.

The Business Development

Manager will collaborate with technical and operations teams to align service offerings with client needs,



participate in client meetings and presentations, and support contract negotiations. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications

- Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and client relationship building.
- Experience in B2B services, preferably in auditing, certification, compliance, or related quality and management system domains.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Analytical and research capabilities to understand market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic office software and CRM tools for reporting, documentation, and client tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in quality or management systems are an advantage.
- Prior experience in the ISO, FSSAI, or quality assurance sector is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, demonstrate ethical conduct, and uphold impartiality standards.
