Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, responsible for expanding KankeTalks’ partnerships, audience reach, and revenue opportunities. Daily activities include identifying and cultivating relationships with sponsors, partners, and community organizations, as well as exploring collaboration opportunities with local businesses, institutions, and media outlets. The role involves developing and executing growth strategies, preparing proposals, negotiating agreements, and maintaining long-term partner engagement.

Manager will also analyze market trends,



track performance metrics, and work closely with content, marketing, and operations teams to align business goals with KankeTalks’ mission.

Qualifications

- Strong business development, sales, and partnership management skills, with experience identifying and closing growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in market research, lead generation, and strategic planning to support sustainable expansion.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders, sponsors, and community leaders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content and marketing, to drive integrated initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; relevant experience in media, community engagement, or social impact organizations is an advantage.
- Robust organizational and time-management abilities, with a results-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Familiarity with Jharkhand’s socio-cultural landscape and a genuine interest in storytelling and community development.
