Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day Yarn Dyeing Production and Operations.
Achieve production targets as per the production plan.
Plan dyeing batches and optimize machine utilization and capacity.
Control key dyeing parameters such as temperature, pH, time, liquor ratio, chemical dosing and recipes.
Ensure consistent shade matching and colour quality.
Monitor and improve Right First Time (RFT) and reduce reprocessing and rejection.
Troubleshoot dyeing, washing and finishing process issues.
Control consumption of dyes, chemicals, water, steam and electricity.
Drive productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Lab, Maintenance, Stores, Utilities, ETP and HR.
Lead, train and develop supervisors, operators and other dyeing personnel.
Monitor machine breakdowns, downtime and preventive maintenance.
Ensure proper chemical handling, safety and environmental compliance.
Maintain batch-wise production records and MIS reports.
Implement 5S, Kaizen,
Lean Manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Support installation and commissioning of current dyeing machinery and process improvements.
