Reporting to: Senior Management The Role

Trivoro is seeking a commercially driven Bunker Trader to develop and execute physical marine-fuel transactions across international markets. The role combines market intelligence, business origination, counterparty development, commercial negotiation and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop relationships with shipowners, charterers, bunker buyers, suppliers, brokers and relevant market participants.
- Originate new business and develop repeat trading relationships across relevant ports and trading corridors.
- Evaluate enquiries based on vessel requirements, product, quantity, delivery location, timing, supply, pricing and credit.
- Source competitive supply and negotiate terms while protecting Trivoro's trading economics.
- Calculate and monitor transaction economics, including purchase price, selling price, costs and gross trading margin.
- Monitor bunker prices, physical supply-demand conditions, refinery developments, freight and relevant commodity-market movements.
- Manage transactions from enquiry and quotation through confirmation, delivery and settlement, coordinating with operations.
- Maintain market intelligence and counterparty information.
- Identify commercial and execution risks before committing Trivoro.

Candidate Profile

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in bunkering, marine fuels,



shipping, physical commodities or a closely related trading setting.
- Practical understanding of VLSFO, HSFO, MGO/MDO and physical bunker delivery processes.
- Demonstrable commercial negotiation and counterparty management experience.
- Strong understanding of pricing, transaction economics and gross-margin calculation.
- Strong numerical and analytical capability with advanced Excel skills.
- Existing buyer, supplier or market relationships are an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal English.
- Ability to operate under time pressure and across international time zones.
- High commercial judgement, discretion and accountability.

What Success Looks Like

Success will be measured by relationships developed, new business originated, transaction conversion, trading economics, repeat business and the ability to strengthen Trivoro's market position.

We are not looking for someone who simply circulates enquiries and quotes. We are looking for an individual who understands each counterparty's commercial position, identifies opportunity, anticipates the next move and makes decisions with a clear understanding of upside and downside.
