Role Description The Branch Operations Head is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery, and maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based at the Sonipat branch and includes managing cash operations, customer service processes, and back-office activities to support sales and service teams. The role involves supervising branch staff, monitoring operational risk, implementing internal controls, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

Head will coordinate audits, manage branch infrastructure and security,



and drive process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Collaboration with branch leadership to support business growth, staff training, and performance management is a key part of this position.

Qualifications

- Strong branch operations management skills, including cash management, transaction processing, and customer service oversight.
- Knowledge of retail banking products and processes across deposits, loans, agriculture, MSME, and mortgage segments.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, audit readiness, risk management, and implementation of internal controls.
- People management capabilities, including team leadership, performance monitoring, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in banking software systems, MS Office tools, and operational reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and process discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, team members, and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional banking certification is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in branch operations within banking or financial services, preferably in retail-focused or small finance bank environments.
