Role Description.

Keddy Edtech is looking for a Cambridge Biology Teacher to deliver engaging and interactive online Biology lessons to IGCSE and A-Level students.

The teacher will be responsible for explaining core and advanced Biology concepts aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum, preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting live online classes, assigning and reviewing homework, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress.

The role requires adapting teaching methods to different learning styles, using digital tools, diagrams, demonstrations, and educational resources to make complex biological concepts easier to understand. The teacher will help students develop strong conceptual understanding, scientific thinking, practical knowledge, and exam readiness.

Key Responsibilities.

- Deliver high-quality online Biology lessons for IGCSE and A-Level students.
- Teach Biology concepts according to Cambridge curriculum standards.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, learning activities, and teaching materials.
- Conduct interactive and engaging live online classes.
- Explain complex biological processes and concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
- Help students develop strong conceptual understanding and scientific reasoning skills.
- Assign, review,



and provide constructive feedback on homework and assessments.
- Support students with exam preparation, past papers, problem-solving, and subject mastery.
- Identify students' learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Use digital whiteboards, diagrams, animations, simulations, and other educational technology tools effectively.
- Track student performance and provide regular academic feedback.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve teaching resources and learning outcomes.
- Participate in periodic training and curriculum discussions when required.

Qualifications & Requirements.

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Biology.
- Good understanding of the Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Biology curriculum.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Education, or a closely related field.
- Previous experience teaching IGCSE and/or A-Level Biology is highly preferred.
- Strong lesson-planning and teaching skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient and learner-centered approach.
- Experience with online or classroom teaching.
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms, digital whiteboards, and educational technology tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a versatile part-time schedule.

Technical Requirements - Mendatory To conduct effective online classes, candidates must have:

- Laptop/Computer – Mandatory
- Stable High-Speed Wi-Fi/Internet Connection – Mandatory
- Webcam – Mandatory
- Pen Tablet/Digital Writing Tablet (Pentab) – Mandatory
- A quiet and professional environment suitable for conducting online classes.
