Role Description The Bell-ringer is a full-time, in office role based at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort, located in Odisha, India. This position is responsible for sounding bells at designated times to support resort operations, events, and ceremonial activities, ensuring accuracy in timing and adherence to established schedules. The role involves coordinating with front office and events teams, responding promptly to special requests, and maintaining bell equipment in positive working condition.





The Bell-ringer is expected to follow all safety and security protocols, assist with basic guest inquiries related to scheduled events, and contribute to a calm, welcoming atmosphere around the property.

Qualifications

- Ability to follow accurate schedules and instructions, with strong attention to timing and detail.
- Basic hospitality skills, including polite guest interaction and professional etiquette.
- Physical ability to access bell areas safely and operate bell mechanisms as required.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility in performing routine duties.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of or openness to learn hotel safety and emergency procedures.
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or related service roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to communicate in English and local languages is preferred.
