Role Description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer – SQL for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in working across Backend Engineering, SQL, Database Development, APIs, Software Development, Data Integration, Cloud, and Enterprise Applications.

The Backend Engineer – SQL will work closely with software, IT, data, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to design, develop, maintain, and optimize database-driven backend applications and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in backend engineering, SQL development, database development,



software engineering, application development, API development, or related technology roles can apply.
- Candidates currently working as Backend Engineer, Backend Developer, SQL Developer, Database Developer, Software Engineer, Application Developer, Data Engineer, Java Developer, Python Developer, .NET Developer, or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, fintech, e-commerce, telecom, manufacturing, logistics, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to valuable knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, or similar relational databases.
- Understanding of joins, subqueries, indexes, views, stored procedures, functions, transactions, constraints, and database normalization.
- Basic understanding of database design, query optimization, performance tuning, and data integrity.
- Programming knowledge in at least one backend technology such as Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, .NET, PHP, or similar languages will be beneficial.
- Understanding of backend development, APIs, data structures, software-development fundamentals, and application architecture.




- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, web services, and system integration.
- Exposure to frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js/Express, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, Sequelize, or similar tools will be an advantage.
- Exposure to MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, or other NoSQL/data technologies will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL, or other cloud-managed databases will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, testing, debugging, and software-development workflows.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or DevOps tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of database security, backups, recovery, permissions, and access management will be beneficial.
- Positive analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with software, database, data, and business teams.
- Willingness to work in an on-site setting.
- Internship, SQL project, database project, backend project, GitHub project, API project, hackathon, freelance work, or academic software project will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Strong willingness to learn new backend, SQL, database, cloud, and software-development technologies.
