Role Description The Automation Tester role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Automation

Tester will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API-based applications, ensuring product quality across releases. Daily responsibilities include analyzing requirements, creating detailed test plans and test cases, executing manual and automated tests, and documenting defects with clear reproducible steps. The role involves collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to refine test coverage, support regression testing,



and contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.

The Automation

Tester will also participate in test environment setup, reporting test results, and helping to ensure timely, high-quality delivery in an agile environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance skills, including test planning, test design, and defect management.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Manual Testing skills, including creating and executing Test Cases.
- Candidates should possess API Testing skills, including validating endpoints, request/response structures, and error handling.
- Candidates should possess Automation skills, including building and maintaining automated test suites and working with common automation tools or frameworks.
- Relevant experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices is beneficial.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Experience testing enterprise platforms, APIs, or cloud-based applications is an added advantage.
