Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer (Manual) to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual testing with a specific emphasis on Accessibility Testing. This role is crucial in ensuring our products are accessible to all users, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and accessibility.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on accessibility issues.
- Perform thorough accessibility testing to ensure compliance with WCAG and other relevant standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accessibility Testing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and tools.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus.
- Understanding of usability testing and user experience principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant internships or project experience in QA or software testing is a plus.
