Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with a strong foundation in Manual Testing, specifically with Pega. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through rigorous testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and provide feedback on software performance.
- Document and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in Pega.
- Solid knowledge and experience in Manual Testing.
- Proficiency in Pega testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of automation testing tools.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant internships or project experience in software testing is a plus.
