Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior QA Engineer with approximately 1 year of hands-on experience to join our growing Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in manual testing across different platforms and possesses proficiency in Python to contribute to the efficiency of our testing pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Manual Testing (Web & Mobile) Execute thorough functional, regression, sanity, and UI/UX testing on desktop web browsers and mobile devices (iOS & Android).
- Test Documentation Write, maintain, and execute clear, comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and detailed bug reports.

Defect Tracking

Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like Jira, ensuring clear steps to reproduce, logs, and root-cause analysis are documented.

- Design, write, and maintain clean, modular Python scripts to automate repetitive testing tasks and data verification.
- Work closely with developers, product managers,



and senior QA engineers to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality software releases.

Mandatory Skills
- 1 year of professional experience in software testing/QA.
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on real devices or simulators/emulators.
- Solid understanding of web technologies, cross-browser compatibility testing, and responsive design validation.
- Python Programming Solid grasp of OOPS concepts, file handling, and exception handling.
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and modular Python code.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, BugZilla) and version control systems (Git).

Preferred Skills

- Strong Attention to Detail An eye for spotting edge cases, data anomalies, and UI inconsistencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting technical bugs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive attitude toward troubleshooting, debugging code scripts, and finding the root cause of issues.
