Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Manual Testing, with a focus on API testing and proficiency in Postman. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize Postman for API testing, validating responses, and ensuring proper functionality.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development of testing strategies and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Solid Manual Testing skills.
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant internships or project experience in software testing is a plus.
