Role Description: The Associate Caller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, OH.

The Associate

Caller will make outbound and receive inbound calls to share information about political campaigns, initiatives, and events, while maintaining clear, courteous, and accurate communication. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with supporters and volunteers, collecting feedback and basic data, updating call records, and following standardised scripts and guidelines. The role also involves coordinating with campaign and research teams, reporting key call outcomes, and escalating complex queries or concerns to senior team members.

Caller is expected to work in a quick-paced environment, meet daily calling targets, and uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and non-discriminatory communication at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and respectfully across diverse audiences.
- Basic data entry, call documentation, and record-keeping skills, including comfort with spreadsheets, CRM tools, or call management software.
- Customer service or stakeholder engagement experience, with skills in handling questions, resolving minor issues, and maintaining a positive caller experience.
- Interest in politics, public policy, or social impact, and willingness to understand campaign objectives and key messages.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, OH, adhere to call schedules, meet performance targets, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct, including respect for confidentiality and non-partisan, non-discriminatory communication standards.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Prior experience in call centre operations, outreach, campaigning, or community engagement is beneficial but not mandatory.
