Role Description The Assistant Video Editor is a full time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role supports the video production team in editing podcast episodes, social media clips, promotional videos, and branded content for coaches, consultants, authors, and founders. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, assembling rough cuts, refining edits, adding basic transitions and effects, and preparing video assets for multiple platforms such as YouTube and social media.
The Assistant Video
Editor will collaborate with senior editors and designers to ensure visual consistency with client branding, assist with simple color correction,
and export files in required formats and resolutions. The role also involves maintaining project file organization, meeting deadlines, following creative briefs, and proactively communicating with the team to deliver polished, client-ready content.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing to support end-to-end creation of high-quality video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to perform basic color correction and enhance visual consistency across projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animated elements, lower thirds, and on-brand visual assets.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing skills is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow creative direction, and openness to feedback are important for success in this role.
- Effective time management, reliability in meeting deadlines, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are required.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing and motion graphics work is preferred; formal education in film, media, or design is a plus but not mandatory.
