Role Description The Assistant Store Manager – Operations is a full-time, in office role based in Kangra. This position supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, order fulfillment speed, and high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities include supervising shift staff, managing scheduling, monitoring performance, and guiding team members to meet operational and customer service targets. The role also involves coordinating with delivery partners, tracking key metrics, handling basic reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.





The Assistant Store

Manager will help resolve customer issues, support training of new team members, and contribute to continuous process improvement within the store.

Qualifications

- Experience in retail, supermarket, or quick-commerce operations with a strong focus on store management and daily operations.
- Skills in team supervision, shift coordination, and performance monitoring, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
- Basic inventory management, stock handling, and order processing skills, including familiarity with POS or store management systems.
- Strong customer service mindset, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Comfort with using mobile apps and basic computer tools for reporting and tracking store metrics.
- Previous experience in a leadership or senior associate role in retail or logistics is preferred.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is an advantage.
