Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager will support the sales function by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with corporate and leisure clients, and helping to achieve revenue targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in developing and executing sales plans, preparing proposals and contracts, conducting follow-ups, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports. The role involves close coordination with operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and effective promotion of hotel services and packages.





The Assistant Sales

Manager will also attend client meetings, site visits, and local networking events to represent Cilantro Hotels in the market. This is a full time, on-site role based at Cilantro Hotels in Siliguri.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in sales, client relationship management, and negotiation to effectively grow and retain business.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with clients and internal teams.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Basic proficiency with office software and hotel sales or CRM systems to manage data, prepare reports, and analyze performance.
- Prior experience in hotel, hospitality, or service-sector sales is highly preferred; familiarity with the Siliguri market is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with diverse teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
