Job Summary:

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching, academic planning, research, student mentoring, and departmental activities related to Ayurveda Samhita Evam Siddhant. The role requires solid knowledge of classical Ayurvedic texts and the ability to integrate traditional Ayurvedic principles with contemporary academic approaches.

Educational Qualifications:

- MD/MS (Ayurveda) in Samhita Evam Siddhant from a recognized university/institution.
- Relevant qualifications as per applicable NCISM/UGC norms.

Experience Requirements:

- Teaching/research experience in Ayurveda Samhita Evam Siddhant will be preferred.
- Experience as per applicable NCISM norms for the post of Assistant Professor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials,



and practical sessions in Samhita Evam Siddhant.
2. Teach and explain classical Ayurvedic texts, principles, concepts, and their contemporary relevance.
3. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and academic records.
4. Mentor students and provide academic guidance for their research and professional development.
5. Conduct and participate in research activities, seminars, conferences, workshops, and publications.
6. Participate in departmental, institutional, examination, and curriculum-development activities.
7. Maintain high standards of academic quality and contribute to the overall development of the department.
