Role Description The Assistant Professor AI/ML will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom instruction in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Dehradun campus. This full-time, on-site role includes designing and updating course syllabi, preparing lectures and learning materials, and guiding students through hands-on projects and research assignments. The role involves mentoring students, supervising capstone and thesis work, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.

Professor will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development,



participate in academic committees, and contribute to departmental initiatives, workshops, and industry collaborations in AI/ML. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging AI/ML technologies and integrating industry-relevant tools and case studies into teaching will be an important part of day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a closely related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency in AI/ML concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, and model evaluation, with practical implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and relevant data tools.
- Proven ability to design and deliver university-level courses, including syllabus development, instructional planning, and outcomes-based assessment.
- Experience guiding student projects, research work, and industry-focused assignments, preferably in collaboration with external partners or organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to learners at different levels.
- Commitment to student-centered teaching, inclusive classroom practices, and continuous career development in AI/ML and pedagogy.
