- Prepare daily/weekly production plans based on customer requirements and available resources.
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Monitor production performance against planned targets and take corrective actions.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Optimize manpower, machines, materials, and production capacity.
- Minimize process losses, downtime, rejection, and rework.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Supervise operators and contract workers and ensure optimum utilization.
- Conduct training and skill development of production personnel.
- Ensure secure working practices and compliance with HSE requirements.
- Implement safety initiatives and participate in risk assessments, mock drills, and incident investigations.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
- Ensure production is carried out as per specified quality parameters.
- Coordinate with QC for product quality issues and corrective actions.
- Reduce batch deviations, customer complaints, rejection, and reprocessing.




- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Monitor equipment availability and minimize production downtime.
- Support implementation of TPM and equipment improvement initiatives.
- Monitor availability and consumption of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Ensure proper batch-wise material usage and minimize material wastage.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, and Planning teams for material availability.
- Identify opportunities for productivity improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
- Lead/participate in WCM, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, loss reduction, and Lean Manufacturing activities.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring problems.
- Maintain accurate production records and ERP entries.
- Prepare daily production reports, KPI reports, downtime analysis, and loss analysis.
- Track KPIs such as production output, OEE, productivity, rejection, downtime, and manufacturing cost.
