This position requires employee to understand, perform and critically analyze activities related to insurance accounting in accordance with latest applicable accounting standard. Understanding of financial reporting per NAIC/IFRS or any other statutory requirement would be preferred
Responsibilities
Preparation of critical journal entries, reconciliations and month/quarter end activities Work closely with onshore counterparts to ensure accurate journal entries are recorded for reinsurance activities
Perform reinsurance accounting in accordance with different kind of insurance treaties.
Prepare schedules relevant for IFRS ,SII or any other applicable statutory requirements
Qualifications
Graduate in Accounting or MBA Finance or CA (Inter) 4-6 years of experience in Controllership.
