Job Title: Site Civil Engineer - Road Works

Location: Karnataka (Project Sites)

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution
Independently plan, supervise, and execute road construction projects, including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, bituminous works, drainage, culverts, and allied civil works.
Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, contract conditions, and quality standards.
Monitor daily site activities, labour, machinery, materials, and subcontractor performance.
Prepare work schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones within budget.
Coordinate with survey teams for setting out, levels, and quantity verification.

Subcontractor & Resource Management
Identify, negotiate with, and arrange reliable subcontractors for various project activities.
Ensure timely mobilization of labour, machinery, equipment, and materials.
Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
Resolve subcontractor-related issues and maintain productivity at site.





Government Client Coordination
Liaise with government departments, engineers, consultants, and client representatives throughout the project.
Attend site inspections, review meetings, and progress discussions with departmental officials.
Resolve technical and execution-related issues professionally while maintaining robust client relationships.
Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and departmental requirements.

Public & Stakeholder Management
Handle site issues involving traffic diversions, utility coordination, local residents, and businesses during execution.
Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
Resolve public grievances and site-related issues professionally with mínimal disruption.

Quality, Safety & Documentation
Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures and safety standards.
