Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL and data pipeline validation.
Perform end-to-end (E2E), regression, and story testing for data engineering projects.
Validate data transformations across source and target systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Execute source-to-target data reconciliation and identify data discrepancies.
Develop and execute SQL queries in BigQuery for data validation and analysis.
Review and analyze workflow execution logs from Composer/Airflow to troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
Validate data movement processes using GCS and GoAnywhere/export logs.
Collaborate with data engineers,



business analysts, and product teams to understand business requirements and define test scenarios.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple data sources.
Support test planning, estimation, and reporting activities within Agile development teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must-Have Skills
5+ years of overall experience in Software/Data Testing.
3+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/Data Testing.
3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, preferably using BigQuery.
3+ years of experience in Data Regression, End-to-End (E2E), and Story Testing.
Robust expertise in source-to-target data reconciliation.
Experience validating end-to-end data transformations and business rules.
Hands-on experience with: BigQuery SQL, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Composer/Airflow log analysis
