About the Role

OMKILKARI Child Development Centre is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The Physiotherapist will work with infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents experiencing developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and movement-related challenges.

The role involves assessing children's motor development, movement patterns, posture, balance, coordination, strength, and functional abilities, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to maximize independence, mobility, and participation in everyday activities. The Physiotherapist will work closely with paediatricians, developmental specialists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, and families to provide holistic, child-centred care.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Evaluation




Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate gross motor development, muscle strength, posture, balance, coordination, gait, range of motion, muscle tone, reflexes, and functional mobility.
Assess developmental milestones and identify delays affecting movement and physical function.
Evaluate each child's participation in home, school, and community activities.
Establish measurable therapy goals in collaboration with parents and the multidisciplinary team.

Treatment Planning & Intervention
Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical findings and developmental goals.
Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve:

Postural Control
Balance and Coordination
Functional Mobility
Gait Training
Range of Motion
