Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) is a unique Training and Research Academy dedicated to grooming socio-political activists into effective leaders. Established in 1982 as a memorial to Late Rambhau Mhalgi, RMP works to address the global crisis of leadership by shaping talents and honing skills through structured training and orientation. Role Description The Assistant Maintenance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in Mira Bhayandar. The role involves daily inspection, upkeep, and repair of facility equipment and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Responsibilities include supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities, coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders, and maintaining logs and documentation of all maintenance work.
The Assistant Maintenance
Officer will also assist in basic electrical and utility-related tasks, monitor compliance with safety protocols, and respond promptly to maintenance requests across the campus.
Key Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, gardening, electrical and mechanical.
- Knowledge of general repair and maintenance activities
- Ability to supervise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance work
- Relevant experience will be preferred
- Minimum educational qualification: ITI, diploma, or equivalent in a relevant technical field is preferred.
- Willingness to work in office in Mira Bhayandar and support occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance needs.
