Job Description - Quality In-Charge:

Job Purpose:
To lead and oversee QA/QC operations at the biscuit manufacturing plant, ensuring consistent product quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to customer specifications across raw materials, production, finished products, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily QA/QC operations across biscuit production and packaging.
Inspect and monitor raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished biscuits.
Define and monitor product quality parameters, specifications, and testing procedures.
Conduct regular quality inspections, process audits, and production-floor checks.
Monitor critical process parameters throughout biscuit manufacturing.
Identify quality deviations and conduct root-cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Monitor and control parameters related to taste, texture, appearance, moisture, weight,



colour, baking, breakage, filling, and packaging.
Drive initiatives to minimize rejection, rework, wastage, and customer complaints.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Positive Manufacturing Practices), and food safety requirements.
Maintain all required QA/QC records, reports, test results, and quality documentation.
Conduct internal quality, hygiene, and GMP audits.
Lead, supervise, and train QC/QA team members on quality procedures and food safety practices.
Coordinate with Production, R&D; (Research and Development), Maintenance, Stores, and Purchase to resolve quality-related issues.
Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Investigate customer complaints and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.

Qualification:
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Dairy
