Senior Secondary (10+2) or Graduation from a recognized board/university.
Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori Teacher Training (MTT), or another recognized pre-primary teacher training course.
Many reputed CBSE schools prefer Graduation + ECCE/NTT.
Positive spoken and written English.
Robust communication and classroom management skills.
Creativity in storytelling, art, music, and activity-based learning.
Patience and a child-friendly approach.
Basic computer knowledge.
Freshers may be considered.
CTET is generally not required for pre-primary (Nursery/KG) teachers. It is mainly intended for teachers of Classes I to VIII. Some schools may still have their own recruitment preferences.
