Key Responsibilities
Supervise and report clinical pathology, hematology, biochemistry, immunology, cytology, and histopathology investigations.
Examine and interpret laboratory results to provide accurate diagnostic reports.
Review and validate laboratory findings before release.
Perform and report cytopathology and histopathology examinations, including biopsies and surgical specimens (where applicable).
Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards, internal quality control (IQC), external quality assurance (EQAS), and applicable NABL/NABH requirements.
Oversee laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, reagent inventory, and workflow management.
Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory services.
Supervise, train,
and mentor laboratory technologists and technical staff.
Collaborate with clinicians to provide diagnostic consultation and support patient management.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, CMEs, and hospital committees.
Maintain laboratory records and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
MBBS with MD/DNB in Pathology from a recognized institution.
Valid National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council registration.
Relevant post-qualification experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory is preferred.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
