We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, cloud platforms, and performance optimization to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and cloud-native technologies.
Implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
Develop and manage Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and data-sharing capabilities.
Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, query tuning, and warehouse sizing.
Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Create and maintain data models supporting reporting, analytics, and machine learning use cases.
Implement data security, governance, and compliance standards.
Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand business requirements.
Automate deployment and data operations using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Robust hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Expertise in SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, Fivetran, Airflow, or dbt.
Knowledge of Python, PySpark, or Java for data engineering tasks.
Experience With Cloud Platforms
AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift)
Azure (ADF, ADLS, Databricks)
GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lakes.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of data security, access controls, and governance frameworks.
