Role Description The Architectural Draftswoman at Cosmic Designs will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and layout drawings for permit submissions. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design concepts, collaborating with architects and planners, coordinating with the approvals team, and ensuring that all drawings adhere to local building codes and regulations. The role also involves updating drawings based on feedback from authorities and clients, maintaining organized project documentation,



and supporting plot subdivision layouts and related planning work.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and compliant permit documents.
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning, including awareness of local building regulations and approval processes.
- Proficiency in technical Drawing, preferably using CAD and other relevant design software tools.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, solid spatial visualization skills, and the ability to work with measured drawings and site data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
- Prior experience with building permit drawings or municipal approvals is an advantage.
