Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Strategy & Governance: Define and execute a standardized CI/CD strategy based on trunk-first development and immutable deployment principles. Establish pipeline maturity models (L0–L3), enforce branching policies, and create modular YAML templates. Operationalize soft/hard gates to align release confidence with risk profiles.

Engineering Standards & Security: Drive "build once, promote" discipline. Embed automated security controls directly into workflows:

Code Quality: SonarQube quality gates

AppSec/SAST/SCA: Snyk & DAST scanning

Cloud Posture & Secrets: WIZ scanning Enforce PR policies, dependency management, and release candidate gating before production merge.

Toolchain Integration & Automation: Integrate core engineering platforms (Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines, SonarQube, Snyk, WIZ, DAST) into seamless workflows. Build reusable automation patterns for pull-request validation, compliance checks, and documentation-as-code to eliminate manual effort.

Hands-on Pipeline Engineering: Architect high-performing Azure DevOps pipelines using reusable YAML modules. Integrate unit, functional, and security testing. Build observability (logging, metrics, diagnostics)



into pipelines to ensure fast troubleshooting and low MTTR.

Adoption & Enablement: Partner with Service Managers and engineering towers to onboard applications onto standardized pipeline models. Provide hands-on guidance, establish feedback loops, and accelerate contemporary engineering adoption across teams.

Metrics & Governance: Track pipeline performance against DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, CFR, MTTR). Replace milestone tracking with automated engineering signals to provide leadership with audit-ready compliance reporting.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

Azure DevOps Ecosystem: Deep hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Branch Policies).

Branching & Delivery Strategies: Proven experience executing trunk-first development and immutable artifact management.

Toolchain Mastery: Direct expertise integrating SonarQube, Snyk, WIZ, and DAST tools into automated build and release gates.

Infrastructure & Scripting: Strong mastery of YAML templating, Git workflows, and automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
