Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with extensive experience in automated testing, specifically using Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications through rigorous testing methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create comprehensive test plans.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that current features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior testing team members.

Mandatory Skills





- Proven experience with Playwright for automated testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web applications.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
