Required Experience

- 8+ years of experience in release management, DevOps engineering, application deployment,

production operations or platform delivery.
- Experience managing enterprise application releases in controlled, regulated or banking

environments.
- Hands-on understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build packaging, deployment automation, branch

strategy, release tagging and workplace promotion.
- Experience with ITSM/change management processes, release governance, audit evidence,

production approvals and operational handover.
- Experience coordinating Project Managers, Developers, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security,

Architecture and Production Support teams.

Required Skills

- Release planning, release governance, deployment coordination, environment management and

stakeholder communication.
- DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline execution, build/release automation, Git branching,

version control and deployment validation.
- ITSM knowledge including change, incident, problem, CMDB, release documentation and

production support handover.
- Ability to prepare deployment plans, rollback steps, runbooks,



release notes, SOPs, checklists and

audit-ready evidence.
- Risk management, dependency tracking, issue escalation, troubleshooting coordination and

decision-making skills.
- Understanding of cloud, APIs, containers, infrastructure dependencies, monitoring/alerting and

security/architecture review gates.

Preferred Tools And Certifications

- Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Jira, Azure Boards, ServiceNow ITSM or equivalent work-item, change and release management

tools.
- Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or equivalent container/platform technologies.
- Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Bash, PowerShell or Python scripting exposure for release automation.
- Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK or equivalent monitoring

and observability tools.
- Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, DevOps Foundation, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure

Administrator, Kubernetes or relevant cloud certification.
