The Senior Business Analyst (BA) acts as a techno-functional consultant responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying requirements, and delivering data-driven insights. This role bridges the gap between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Lifecycle Management Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical specifications using structured techniques like interviews, workshops, and process mapping.

Agile Backlog Governance Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria; support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.

Data Analysis & Insights Conduct data analysis using SQL, Excel, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to identify trends, gaps, and strategic opportunities.

Solution Design & Testing Collaborate with solution engineers to design workflows and wireframes; lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test scripts and managing defect resolution.

Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including business leaders and technical architects,



to manage cross-functional requirements effectively.

Digital Transformation Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, particularly using Low-Code/No-Code platforms or automation technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience 6–12+ years of relevant IT and Business Analysis experience.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency

Methodologies Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall frameworks.

Management Tools Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar ticket-tracking tools.

Data/BI Tools Advanced SQL, Excel, and Power BI/Tableau for data manipulation.

Specialized Platforms Experience with Low-Code/No-Code development (e.g., Power Platform) or Content Management Systems (e.g., AEM, WordPress).

Soft Skills Solid analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills; excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing engagement.

Certifications (Preferred) CBAP, CSPO, or relevant platform certifications (e.g., AWS, Pega, Salesforce).
