Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Lead with 10 to 15 years of hands-on expertise in database engineering, administration, and architecture. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage our next-generation data platforms across multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure).

The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) technologies, capable of leading technical teams, driving database strategy, and ensuring maximum uptime, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture &
- Cloud Infrastructure

Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure database solutions across both AWS (RDS, Aurora, EC2) and Azure (Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB/Mongo API, VMs). Architect and execute multi-cloud data replication, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Optimize cloud database costs through effective resource provisioning,



storage tiering, and lifecycle management.

- Database Engineering &
- Administration

Lead the administration, tuning, and optimization of enterprise-scale PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases. Implement advanced performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and sharding/partitioning models.

Drive database automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Leadership &
- Strategy

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of DBA and Database Engineers. Define and enforce enterprise database standards, best practices, data governance, and security compliance policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Software Engineering, Product) to align database architecture with business goals.
