Role Description

We are looking for a Head of AI & Digital Transformation to turn C & E into an AI-native chemical manufacturer. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the roadmap for using AI across operations, supply chain, product development and sustainability.

Your job is simple to describe, hard to do: find high‑leverage problems, apply AI aggressively, and turn experiments into repeatable systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI use cases across the business (manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, sales).
- Automate and improve core workflows such as planning, reporting, inventory management, and quality control using AI tools and agents.
- Build analytics and decision-support systems that give the CEO and leadership real-time visibility into plant performance, costs, and risks.
- Partner with Operations and R&D; on initiatives like predictive maintenance, process optimization, and AI-assisted formulation.




- Design and run AI training programs so employees become “10x” operators using AI in day-to-day work.
- Create simple guardrails for ethical, safe and compliant AI use in a regulated chemical environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced AI certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or digital transformation, ideally in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial operations.
- Proven track record of shipping AI or automation projects end-to-end, not just strategy slides.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to connect AI capabilities to P&L; impact, process efficiency, and sustainability goals.
- Confident communicator who can work directly with a CEO and also train frontline teams.
- Familiarity with Indian manufacturing and regulatory context in chemicals is a plus.
